The Pastures Community Centre in Northampton was built by the borough council  in 2000 and opened in September 2000.

The council still retain the freehold but have now leased it to a company Pastures Community. The company is registered as a charity in England and Wales and is responsible for the decoration of the interior of the centre, the bookings and all aspects of managing the building.

The directors of the company and trustees of the charity have full control of the finances and use of the centre.
